Each year the mill regenerates every hectare that has been cut over the previous year. Iroquois Falls obtains its fibre in two forms: as roundwood purchased from outside sources, and from its own limit operations, and as chips from local sawmills.

Iroquois Falls can store approximately 280,000 cubic meters of tree-length wood in its wood yard. The wood is sawed into eight-foot lengths and de-barked by two tumble debarking drums. The bark is reclaimed and burned as a fuel in the boiler house, while the debarked wood is chipped for the TMP pulping process.

Pulp Content 100% TMP. Other additives, such as dyes, chlorine-free bleach, clay, retention aids, sizing agents and kraft pulp, are combined with the TMP furnish as required to meet each product's quality specifications.
